On some TV episode of Twilight Zone, or was it The Outer Limits, the world is about to end due to some major crisis, so all the world's leaders, and the best and the brightest people, all load onto some spacecraft and blast off into outer space, leaving the rest of us all to perish! It's okay for India to have a billion people. So many people like living and they have to live somewhere. Actually, it was a billion officially in 1999. Now it's more like 1.1 billion.
Let the human population size rise naturally, so people may have freedom, and so more children can come alive. There's no need to "control" numbers, because humans are supposedly intelligent, and there's so much we can do to ADAPT to our growing numbers.
