@Thetweakster the best way to get a job is to apply for an EFF (emergency firefighter crew) with the Us Dept. of agriculture forest service. There are some classes you can take online to better your chances. I would go down to your local fire department and see about volunteering with them, thats how i got my start. Just make sure you're in good enough physical condition for this job, its no joke...

Nice video. I was on the Severity USFWS Type 4 that got detailed in. Had a great time and got to see some fire. Hope to come back some day.

I started my wildland "career" on 412. R-5 has plenty of fire, but I miss CO high country. Nice video - well done.
