Cheeky Kea (Alpine Parrot) at Treble Cone Ski Resort Wanaka, New Zealand

One of the great things about Treble Cone apart from great terrain for Skiing and Snowboarding, and a view that is second to none is the fact that it is also home to one of New Zealand's most entertaining wildlife characters the Kea. Kea are notoriously cheeky, and curious they love to get their beaks stuck into just about anything, and have been know to chew up the rubber seals on cars, and just about anything else that takes there fancy.

Treble Cone is 1.5 hours scenic drive from Queenstown, and approximately 45 minutes from Wanaka.
