  • Brilliant! Best one I have seen yet.

    I also liked Matt Wandels jig but for me it is a bit complex and if you lose count of the turns all your material can easily be ruined in one go. Your jig appears easier to opperate.

    I was thinking of making something similar using a door catch to locate into a division bar.

    Where did you get the alloy strip with the 1/8" divisions from?

    I cut the strip from aluminum and cut out the divisions on the table saw.

    There are more details on the project in the article on my site (link in description).

    I have a new version of this jig that will be ready in a few days. It's smaller and less complex. Look for the video this coming Friday night (EST).
