I'm on venlafaxine, even if I miss a dose, in a few hours I can barely move with intense dizziness, nausea and head-shocks, cannot imagine going cold-turkey, would be hell.

Hey, good doc! You may not remember me but I commented on your first citalopram video, and issues with that particular drug. I am now currently on venlafaxine and I have noticed big improvements in my behaviour and level of energy. Thank you so much for your help. You are by far the best youtube channel.

reduce your normal intake 15% every 2 weeks. You will still have the withdrawals but it will be a lot better than cld turkey.

Hey doc! I'm in the process of finding a good pdoc cause the Prozac makes me black out when I stand up and if I don't take it for a day I feel like complete shit - worse than opiate withdrawal... Any thoughts of what I should do? I was thinking about Wellbutrin. Idk if I need a SSRI or a DNRI. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.. Oh, I take Klonopin as well - about 2-3mg a day.

Bro I hated Invega It caused my body to not be able to regulate my body temp. And I got heat stroke and ended up in the hospital for a day and a night. It was a mess... Seroquil caused my heart to skip beats I ended up in the hospital for a night over that. I now take a low dose of clonidine which is a blood pressure medication however it works for stress and such along with a 1mg dose of ativan twice daily.

i know there is rebound nightmares i have seen them induce mania and psychosis but not so much akathisia was she taking anything else that caused akathisia like antipsychotic medicaiton (haldol, thorazine, mellaril, stelazine, prolixin?) the concept of intolerable side effects then discontinuation from that, then increasing depression can occur regardless of the antidepressant so yes to answer your question, yes
