yes, human beings must recognize their common bonds, but that is *not* the same thing as wanton imperialism and conquering of nations under one flag and ideology. The history of Europe, specifically the colonial period, tells us that that does not work either. We cannot set aside freedom for the immediate gratification of strength and wealth.

That was a regretable incident, yes; whether or not it was on purpose or whether those missiles are 100% accurate is debatable, but even in the unlikely event it was I still don't see how it disproves my point about Yugoslavia's breakup. Unless you really believe NATO entered Yugoslavia for the sole reason of bombing the Chinese Embassy?!

As for Yugoslavia, I think you should read about the situation in Yugoslava a little better before you blame NATO and the USA. This is hardly the place for such a discussion because it is a very big issue, but suffice it to say that the causes were very much internal and not just NATO launching a war arbitrarily. NATO are not the United States, and Yugoslavia was not Iraq!
