@jayynecobb we had them in Dallas a few years ago and were less than $40. I looked at one of several on the lot at Billy Barrett's VW here.

@jayynecobb How come my friend has a 2004, and his father a 2008 (R32) in Oregon? Both were under $35k new.
What the USA doesn't have: R36 passat, and R50 Touareg.

@jayynecobb The Golf R32 was most definitely sold in North America. I believe they made a limited number of the R32 edition (5,000 I think) and split them up between all of their markets. It certainly wasn't $56,000 though. It was sold for around $29,000(2004) $32,000(2008).
