  • Dolly has an excruciatingly upper class accent! Her vowels would cut glass.

  • @notAbba The black/whites were the bare bones acting out of the novels. Thats why they"moved". They left out clues and information, so the mystery usually wasn't too mysterious. And they never bothered with characterization. Why anyone would ever want to go see them, I can't say. A nice part of this is watching the lovely English scenery. And watching the actors ACT. If I just wanted a retelling of the book with no frills, i could just reread the book.

  • i love the colorful background stage set and landscaping scenery

  • This is really trashy, cheap, and done for "effect." Too bad that the British have no class like they did in the Margaret Rutherford days. In addition those old black and whites moved. These are stretched out and slow. The only thing better is the use of actual house interiors rather than sets -- but in the black and white days the cameras, etc. were not very portable.

  • pity ,due to copyright Poirot was removed.that's the only way some of us get to watch it.. thanx for Ms Marple though.

  • Blimey! That's all?

  • @hassankalaldeh maybe post them under another name? but please give us a hint if you do so! ;)
