  • @michaelsmueller Actually, no. The two are very similar in design, and Hitler very much used Marxism as his base. Did he twist it for his own ends, yes he did. "Big money capitalism", is actually Fascism not Naziism. Mussolini called it "corporatism". Funny thing though, big money capitalism financed the Communist revolution in Russia in the early 1900's. Communism is Capitalism's best friend. It revolves around monopolies, and when you're the guy on top, then God bless the Socialists, right?

  • @intelharvest This is incorrect. Please read Mein Kampf by Adolph Hitler himself and Inside the 3rd Reich by Albert Speer or the Rise and Fall of the 3rd Reich by William A Shirer. the National Socialist party was not based upon Marxism or socialism as all - in fact they were linked with the heavy industries and big money capitalism. No industry was ever nationalized. Please site your sources otherwise. National Socialism has nothing to do with Marxism.

  • @michaelsmueller Apparently you're the one who needs to go back. NAZIism was based on Marxism, Hitler was a Marxist, this is why the NAZI flag was red. They tried to get Commies to join, seeing as how the two are so closely related, they only differed on things like who's on their kill lists. Since they are rooted in Socialism, your land is actually State property, you only manage it. They stole property from those on their kills lists, so yes, they had a problem with personal property rights.

  • @intelharvest - actually the national socialist party had nothing against personal property rights. Please go back to 8th grade.

  • It boils down to private property rights. They have all there local permits and here comes the arrogant fed to shut down a family from building. Sad time for property owners at Priest.

  • U.S.Govt. = "Silly peasants, no you cant live the american dream unless you are an illegal immigrant, impoverished, or related to someone in power."

  • Growing up, my parents were in the real estate/construction business. This is not as sensational as Dobbs makes it out to be. With so many houses already in that neighborhood, it looks like the EPA is arbitrarily applying their voodoo template for density vs. preservation.

  • Many times, my parents were blocked from building a home on a property due to something similar. Although my folks had all the requisite city + county permits, state would come back and say the area had achieved its capacity and whatever land is left will be deemed 'wetlands.' Increased set-back from a creek or marshland restricting construction?

  • Minimum lot line buffers? It sounds like this may be part of the issue. Existing structures are grandfathered into regulations. Is it right? No, perhaps not. While I have an inherent mistrust of an agency as bloated as the EPA, I have to admit, there is always three sides to a story and I will not rush to judgment until all the facts surface. (500 char? really?)

  • @michaelsmueller So what exactly is the issue? The EPA couldn't even prove on their own site or their documents that his was a "wetland" area, and their attitude is "well, it is, even if we can't prove it". They should be executed and their family taxed for the cost of ammo. Are you a private property hating Commie, or a private property hating NAZI? Which one are you?
