No problem-I am new to contacts and i have a problem of chewing mii nails off so in this case it would be an advantage! :) jaja

most people dont like the idea of looking straight forward and putting the lens directly on the cornea because usually its painfull but the lens makes it 100% pain free and it gets some getting used to
but really go to a proper shop/store and ask to start wearing lenses there. all lenses are different and you will probably relax more if you know someone has checked you are ok.
Also some contact lenses are ok to sleep in. consult your dcotor again...
