While interesting, I think an amalgamation of fills is a bit distracting. Neil weaved them nicely into the songs, make them part of the composition. His meter and mastery of time was fantastic. He often developed a theme and changed it continuously throughout a song, keeping things consistent yet interesting. There was a lot of thought that went into Neil's parts, and while he was (and is) a great technician, fills are only one small part of the whole that makes Neil a world-class drummer.
