A romantic fanvid for a different animated series favorite of mine is here.

X-Men: Evolution differed from its comic book source somewhat, but some things never change. One thing or rather one couple still met, still fell in love, but not immediately and not in a way typical except for them.

Rogue's powers are combination of her own and whatever she takes from others because of that ability. As a result no one can come into physical contact with her without physical side effects.

Until Remy, alternately known as Gambit. They first meet during a three way showdown between an alliance of X-Men and Brotherhood versus the Acolytes.

Rogue and Remy share a brief moment with a charged card of hearts. Later he will have her along to save people from his past that he could not abandon to their fates.

She ultimately decides to help him because he is the first person she's able to make physical contact without too much physical harm.

She's also grown to like, and eventually love him. He reciprocates to some extent eventually as well. Their relationship in the comics is intense for its on-off extremes.

So likewise, finding an appropriate song to that temperament was difficult until hearing this one song.

A song called "Make This Go On Forever", another song by Snow Patrol.

@girfan811 When he appears in Day of Reckoning they animated his eyes that way, but in all his subsequent appearances he has his usual comics look for the eyes.

@emeraude15 I agree. to be honest I always thought scott was annoying as hell. he complained too much. always had shit to say about everyone else, and Jean was a good telepath and all but she always had to get saved by everybody. gambit and rogue are much better. :) they have a much better romantic story. could make a movie just about their relationship, and they should. :D
