This is some records I got at a Thrift/junk shop the other day. The lady who owned the place was not only trying to get rid of everything there, but was also ready to leave and close up when I arrived. I asked if she had any records and she had a small stack of beat up LP's and then the 45's. She said she would take $50 for all of them, and I asked her how much for just the 45's. She put them all in a bag and offered them to me for $20 so I gladly accepted. This 5 part video shows what all I happily found in the bag, with mabye a few exceptions. I'll have to admit, I'm not really a fan of Anne Murray. :-)

  • i will post a video showing you some of what i found and you can give me some feedback if you like

  • Cool, I would like to see what you found.

  • do you think i should use youtube to sell them, since i dont collect? or should i find a houston collector? like i said, they arent scratched at all, because they were jukebox records..some of the paper labeling is a bit faded on some, but other than that really good.

  • eBay is probably the best way for you to sell them. You've got a better chance with collectors there, and that's where I've been able to find a lot of great records.

  • The song by the Toys is A Lover's Concerto I believe, I forget whats on the flip which is also forgettable.. Concerto is great tho! I have a copy, it was a big hit in the mid sixties.

  • Okay, I might clean it up a bit and post it too. Thanks Cris

  • I was trying to find out all I could about my records, and the best info site i found as far as values and descriptions go is a site called GEMM..they had info on all of my records...a great vault of information...

  • ..the best one is a Big bopper 45 of chantilly lace/purple people eater..it is yellow, "D" label, and apparently worth a good bit..nice video man, I never was interested in records, but now i find it really cool..thanks for posting..

  • I helped an elderly lady clean out her garage last week..her husband passed a couple months ago, and he was an avid collector of all things/packrat..well, we were doing the throw away/dont throw away thing, and she had a box of 100 45's which came out of a jukebox in the late 60's when a bar closed..she didnt want them, so i took them, and after researching on the internet i realized i had some rare treasures! alot of elvis, early carl perkins from sun records, fats domino..and the best one..

  • No, I couldn't tell the difference because I was trying to shuffle through them so fast for the video, and I had not gone through them closely to even see what I had. I'll get KFF & the flip up next.
