Lets not forget... In one episode, I think it was one when the team was hiding in Zuko's summer home, there was a strange drawing of a person on an island where giant lion-turtles dwell. It was a hand drawn picture, the only one among the many paintings in that house. It could be that Zuko's father might has drawn that while thinking about his wife. It could be that she was banished to such an island.

well, nobody forget the last episode, where zuko asks the firelord, now a prisoner, where is his mother. then it just ends. so my theory is that she was banished on some remote isle. either that or something we dont know about yet. anyone agree with this?
