Audio portrait of an LA neighborhood, the mobile spaces of the Metro Red Line. Soundtrack is a mix of recordings done within the trains up and down the entire Red Line. It's intentionally lo-fi and mixed for headphones. Illustrated with slideshow of wrestling posters in Union Station. I was interested in how these monumental human images loomed over the human commuter-neighbors, but were also trod upon and deteriorating. Who were the true inhabitants of this neighborhood? What sounds did they hear? This was a project for my Audio Culture & Critical Listening class at USC.
