@TheGymkat45 Well you were lucky, you got the vaccine in time. However the remarkable thing about this is that these people did not get the vaccine in time. Before the Milwaukee protocol, if you were infected, showing symptoms, and didn't get the vaccine in time, they strap you down, and wait for you to die.

@MakesMeAngry If they don't know they acquired rabies...how would *you* know they got over it? Not all animal bites result in rabies because not all animals are rabid....are you saying there is some test that doctors randomly and routinely perform that tells people that they at one point in the past had rabies? Don't think so.
