@letusreason1234 ""Paul shows that Abraham was counted Righteous BEFORE THE MOSAIC, and asks: how is it that THE LAW is what makes you righteous if someone was righteousness before it existed?"""""
So what saved him? And what saved David (who's cited as well as an example) who was under the Mosaic law? Its the same thing :') FAITH....

@21crosscheck21 make sure to include Romans 4:13-14 and my above response in that video...
And explain why Paul specifically says that Abraham was counted Righteous BEFORE THE MOSAIC, and asks: how then is it that THE LAW is what makes you righteous if someone was righteousness before it existed?
:)

@letusreason1234 Okay... thanks. I'll make a video response to that :')

@21crosscheck21 Well, you tell me:
(Romans 4:13-14) For it was not through law that Abraham or his seed had the promise that he should be heir of a world, but it was through the righteousness by faith. For if those who adhere to law are heirs, faith has been made useless and the promise has been abolished.
Paul shows that Abraham was counted Righteous BEFORE THE MOSAIC, and asks: how is it that THE LAW is what makes you righteous if someone was righteousness before it existed?

@letusreason1234 """"Obviously the Mosaic law with it's temple works do not save."""" So when Paul wrote Romans 4:5 he had he Mosaic law and the temple in mind when he was talking about works?
"""The Law covenant and its many works do not save, but the OBEYING of the commands of God, which precede the Law covenant, do save...."""""
I agree with the first part but "obeying the laws that precede the law covenant?" What are you talking about?
In Romans 4 Paul uses 2 examples.... 1 not under the law and 1 that is. Abraham and David. What "laws" or "works" where they saved by?
