Demi came back home. She found her parents in the kitchen.

Demi: Hey Mom and Dad.

Demi's dad: We need to talk.

She knew that tone. Oh no, they were not....They couldn't..... (A/N: dun dun dun)


Demi's mom: Sit please.

Demi did as told (A/N: good girl)

Demi's dad: My boss told me something today. He needs someone efficient to go to New York.

Demi: And you said yes.

Demi's dad: I did.

Demi's mom: We need to be there next week.

Demi: But I don't want to move! I have tons of friends here. And I'm in a band. You know it's important for me.... (A/N: Breathe, Demi, breathe)

Demi's mom: Calm down honey.

Demi's dad: We already though about that.

Demi: And?

Demi's dad: You're 17 and I think you're old enough to do that.

Demi: Do what?

Demi's dad: If you keep interrupting me, you'll never know.

Demi: Sorry.

Demi's dad: So I was saying that you could ask one of your friends if you could live with them.

Demi: Really?! (A/N: No, I'm joking. Idiot! She's the man quote)

Demi's mom: Yes. We know you hate moving.

Demi: I can ask any of my friends?

Demi's dad: Except boys (A/N: If you were thinking that, you're busted missy!)

Demi: Ok, I'll ask them tomorow at school.


~The next day, at school~ (A/N: Why wait?)

Demi: Hey girls. I have something to tell you.

All: What's up?

Demi: *she giggled* I love when you're doing that. Anyway, you know that I moved a lot?

Selena: Please, don't tell us you're moving.

Demi: Well, my parents do. They were wondering if one of you could let me live with you. So I would stay here.

Selena: I will!

Nicole: Um, Sel. We have to ask our parents first.

Selena: They will probably agree.

Vanessa: Well, if they don't, you can come at my house Demi.

Demi: Thanks.

Selena: We'll ask our parents tonight.


~At lunch~

Joe: So, what's up peeps?

Demi: I might move.

Joe: What?!

Demi: I said "might".

Joe: What happened?

Demi: My parents are moving to New York because of my dad's job. They asked if I could stay here with one of you. Sel and Nicole will ask their parents.

Joe: You know, you can still live with me and my brothers.

Demi: Nice try but my dad doesn't want me to live with boys.

Joe: Oh. What if you don't find anyone to stay with?

Demi: Then I'll go with my parents.

Joe stayed silent for the rest of the lunch.


~Evening, with Selena and Nicole~

Selena: Mum, Dad, we need to talk.

Gomez mom: Sounds serious.

Nicole: It is.

Gomez dad: We're listening.

Selena: Remember Demi?

Gomez mom: Oh yeah. What a lovely girl.

Selena: Yeah. The problem is her parents are moving and she needs a place to stay.

Gomez dad: And it would be here?

Selena/Nicole: Yes!

Gomez mom: Well, we have a spare room.

Gomez dad: She can live with us.

Selena/Nicole: Thanks! We love you!

Selena: I'm gonna call her *she took her phone and dialed the number*

Demi: Hello?

Selena: Say hi to your new roomies!

Demi: It means....

Selena: You're gonna live with us.

Demi: Yayyy!
