  • @WiseUp89 Hell yea. Too bad a lot of these fools from SD have dissapeared and most of the new ones have a different style.

  • @vampzone

gotta bring it back to SD, that's when the underground Chicano G-Funk scene was at it's pinnacle

  • @WiseUp89 That's what's up. Hopefully, the ones that we DON'T support disappear sooner than later because they're just flooding up the scene with wack shit. Orale, I'll hit him up.

I do like A Tribe Called Quest, in fact I used to be a big fan of East Coast lyricism as a middle school/high school cat, but being from So. Cal can't help but be a victim of that G-Funk exposure. Only thing that I don't dig is the afrocentricity.

Earlier you'd mentioned that this song was missing a black guy's voice, but there are plenty of black rappers with voices not so great, like Kokane, Goldie Loc, E-40, Mr Short Khop and so forth.

  • @WiseUp89

well the over usage of those words i heard only in newschool ..

tell me watcha think about this one ... lil bit different, but,,,

You actually think the first guy rapping has an accent? I can't catch it. Only person that I like that has an accent is Lil Rob, and even he has a knack for putting words together! Rappers Kid Frost, ALT, Slow Pain, Mr. Shadow, Nino Brown, Mr. Lil One, GPA, Ese Daz from Spanish Fly, Aztec Tribe, Young Sicc, Mr Criminal and countless others don't have an accent. I got into Chicano rap b/c the constant & over usage of "nigga this" & "nigga that" of black rappers got annoying. Irony.

  • @WiseUp89

you absolutely right about the beats, but the annoying part is their accent flow, it is not a racist thought ,it just that it need some groovy voiced nigga to kick it :)
