@dirtymike31 He became fat during the last 3 years of his life.
-
He was skinny actually, he only started getting fat in this mid 30's because of sickness, he had a fragile health.
And he wasn't short, that's a cliché coming back from the British propaganda of that time. Actually he was over 170cm, which is above the average height in Europe in the 19th century. I know plenty of guys even now whose height barely reach 170cm, yet 2 centuries later the average height in France is 174cm, which is pretty much the same as in Britain.

funny, i thought napoleon was a fat, midget.

no matter what even the English and Dutch think of Napoleon, the thing that saves him is that he stood against the Inquisition! and that gives him Sainthood!!

@seafireliv I suggest not to analyze how we carry out capitol punishment today if that looked graphic :P I would take the guillotine over 5 minutes of sizzling on the electric chair any day, like getting picked off by a jaguar- nerves severed before you can register the pain.

Finally, a very well done docu-drama about an immensely fascinating person and period!
Wow. that chopping off of his head at the start was pretty graphic!

@Deanboy2007 By the way dont get me wrong, i like the british , i love british culture, i just dont like a behavior like yours for a period that you were so obviously on your back foot compared to the world conqueror French and to the genius of Napoleon
