This documentary is a breathtaking odyssey, stretching from the pyramids of ancient Egypt to South American ruins. From Easter Island to Angkor Wat, Graham Hancock puts forward compelling evidence to suggest that cultures we term ancient were in fact the heirs to an older lost civilization.

I disagree. We know more and have seen more of our universe now than ever before. Kepler and Hubble have showed us so much in the last 20 years that it has enhanced our connection with the stars more than ever. Heck, we can even see 100's of other planets now.

The ancients' obsession with the sky is puzzling to most of us now, as we can't really even see the night sky anymore. Atmospheric pollution and light pollution have hidden the stars from us, except for some of the brighter ones. What a sad commentary on modern life, that we have separated ourselves from nature and no longer have that connection to the cosmos that our ancestors had.

The khmer people are celebrating the funeral of king Norodom Sihanouk. the funeral is done according to the buddhist and hindu tradition. So you can clearly research how it is done. They have done these rituals sine before this era of Angkor Wat. The funeral car of the king has 36 dragon heads. Why do they have those 36 dragon heads of the funeral car? Because 3 and 6 equal 9 as in 90 year olds and because king was 90 years old. And this number 45 twice is also 90, so it is easy to understand!

In Underworld, GH made it clear that the big problem with the Yoniguni formation is that while there are many divers, there are so few geologists who are divers. Only a very, very few have ever actually gone down there to really study them, a very different thing from just looking at videos and photos. GH has always welcomed oppositional viewpoints because, not being a scientist himself, he is nonetheless a real stickler for the most objective and definitely rock-solid scientific data.
