Nasa found a planet just like Earth called Kepler 22b. Kepler 22b is 600 light years away but there could be life on it.

@TheLegendaryWilly They're almost certain that it's not a gas giant. That means that it's probably a very large terrestrial planet. They can't conclude, however, whether or not it is covered in water, but its large size would lean to the conclusion that it has at least as much surface water as the Earth.
