Had a 2000 Ford Excursion with a 7.3 diesel towed in for a no start. First found several electrical problems caused by an owner attempted repair. After they were all straightened out I found that the injector buzz test was not producing any audible noises, so I back probed the wire from the injector control wire from the PCM to the IDM to make sure the PCM was commanding the buzz test. After several attempts at the buzz test I got one injector to buzz and concluded the no start to be caused by the injector oil plungers being stuck.
