Times Square's had a very interesting and talented visitor - all the way from Japan. Authentic geisha Komomo paid a visit.

  • HAH - yeah, Madonna, a brilliant but talentless whore ,,,,,NOT a geisha in any way.

  • Anyone else cringed a little on the inside when the geisha bowed and by that time all the American soldiers already had their backs turned? e_e

Wahh~ Geisha training is much harder than it looks, but they make it look so easy! *admire*

  • @SelestynaArpa364 It's a wig :3 It's called a "Katsura", Only Maiko (trainee geisha) wear their real hair in a similar style. But when a woman becomes a Geisha, she wears a wig. ^^

  • She's so beautiful...o.O *in awe*

  • I liked the way she whipped her hand out to shake that soldier's hand. She made it seem so graceful, even tho it's a simple mundane thing we do everyday.

  • @kusonohito thats right! totally agree with you!

  • 1:57 .. dumb-asses ...didn't face the Geisha while she was thanking-... they are who should be grateful to her... well, at least the woman turned back and gave her hand

  • Ahh! Komomo. I have her book and she is one of my favourites!

  • @pinkfreak41 Welcome to a video from america sweet cheeks. -.-

  • She had a wig ("shimada" hairstyle), it wasn't her natural hair ;) all adult geishas wear wigs, only maiko - an aperiance for a geisha - wear their natural hair. They are going to the hairdresser once a week, sleeping with a hairstyle like this is very difficult so when they are adult they don't want to be exhausted any more and use wigs. The wigs are amazing and expensive... but I wish to have one

She's beautiful and talented and brave, she don't scared a stereotype about geisha girls in US :)
