Our beautiful Ragdoll kittens, Roman (the Seal Bi-colour who looks like a Raccoon) who was 12 weeks old when this video was taken and Chiko (the Seal Lynx Point) who was 13 weeks old when this video was taken.
They are absolutely stunning babies, very loving, attentive, outgoing, playful and affectionate. They purr when we touch them (even just picking them up and their motors go!), they purr when we talk to them, they purr when we are near them and they purr even when they see us.
They are very quiet, with Chiko being the more vocal of the two - he has a little meow for when he is stuck or in some sort of trouble, when he knows mummy's getting his dinner and when he is looking for me to get cuddles - he meows to let me know he wants me to pick him up and cuddle him, it is very sweet and he just purrs and purrs until he falls asleep in my arms.
And our baby Roman loves to brush around our legs and look up at us lovingly with those huge deep sea blue eyes of his, he is SUCH an attention seeker and smooch.
Although they are both boys, they love eachother very much and cuddle eachother all the time and hate being separated, even for a couple of seconds. They are a true testament to the Ragdoll breed displaying all associated characteristics, even the floppyness and this is all because of their pure lines, the time, care and effort their breeders Alison and Roy from Keepin-Katz in New Zealand have given them. We could not be happier with our lovable, healthy, happy and well socialised little boys! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Alison and Roy!
This is one of the cutest cats I have seen in my entire life!!!!!!!!!!!

@143cat No worries, good luck :) If you can, get two Ragdolls - they make the best of friends and it'll help give you a break as well, as they will play with eachother often. Makes it easier to pop out for errands, as solo Ragdolls will cry and get upset about you leaving. Oh & let me know what pattern/colour you're getting! :)

@143cat when they feel left out or want more attention. As for the grooming, it's best done at least once every week/two weeks (depends on the length of hair and the season - cats are fluffier in Winter for example) to avoid the odd knot around the legs/tummy. Ragdolls don't knot as much as Persians do. Mainly you groom them regularly to keep their hair soft & to get them used to being brushed, so when they do tangle a little, they don't mind being brushed. Good luck :)

@143cat the breeder has bred for temperament, is well qualified etc (NOT a backyard breeder or kitten mill) and you play with and bond with your kitten from an early age & maintain that level of attention and give rewards, treats, pets, play games, keep your kitten happy, safe & warm etc it should love being petted as much as ours do (which is a LOT!). Though not all cats will beocme lap cats - 2 of ours love cuddles on my lap, the third prefers to lie beside me, but all 3 love being held & cry

@143cat Hiya, as long as your bulldog is used to cats and friendly with cats & the breeder has ensured the kitten is well socialised, with close supervision your kitten and dog should get along well. Don't force them to interact & ensure both have plenty of attention as well. It took us a week for our two older Ragdolls to accept our youngest Ragdoll and the same again when we introduced our German Shepherd puppy. In terms of personality, as long as the kitten is well socialised by the breeder &

@RaggyHeaven My dog is very patient, too. And I heard ragdolls like to play with other animals,so will that be a problem? Plus we live in a quiet enviroment in the subberbs and there are no cars; it's very peaceful. I think it would be great for a ragdoll. And is it true that they are very happy when you pat them? Oh and one more thing, some people say the fur doesn't tangle as much as persians for example, you dont have to brush them all the time...just once on two days or so. is that true?

@RaggyHeaven Thanks a lot! Yes, we have been thinking about an indoor cat, don't worry! We won't let the accident happen to our new cat! Too risky. if we would let her out, we would have her on a leash. And yes, we have a cat gym, too. We have almost everything to take care of her. Her name will be Jynx :) We have a dog (french bulldog) who loves playing with cats! He is very gentle and the dog and my cat used to be togheter ALL THE TIME.
