Simple electric generator

I wanted to create a very simple electric generator. This is one of the most simple I know.

This is my version of Bill B's simple electric generator. I used a LED light bulb instead of the bulb Bill B uses in his video.

The green LED bulb requires 2.1 volts of electricity.

When magnets are spun their magnetic field increases, sending electrons to the copper wires and then Electricity is created

Connect the copper wire to a motor instead and connect the motor to the nail causing it to run itself.

great work ! after i rectify it any advice on which capacitor can store enough to power a small radio perhaps? mine pumps out around 11 volts ac(:-)... so after dc conversion which capacitor rating will work? plz reply ..

would the same electrical current be created if the wires were wound the same direction the magnets were turning?

@PhotonDrive hey thanx for clearing that up. ac to bridge rectifier to dc makes more sense to me now also.
