Grandus W 2009, CW is a dark brown 16.1hh gelding combining the personality, disposition and athleticism of a future champion with proven genetics. Growing up in a group of 25 other 1-3 year old stallions before being gelded, he developed an excellent mind with the right edge of competitivness sought after in the show ring.
He excelles with his technique over the fence and shows off his above avarage movements.
Sire: GERVANTUS II is an imported Oldenburg stallion that had an extensive and impressive career in Grand Prix show jumping including 3 clear rounds at the World Cup qualifier in Paris, Nations Cups and the qualification for the European Championship. Successfully completing stallion performance tests in Germany and Switzerland, Gervantus II is siring premium offspring in Europe and North-America. In 2008, the Gervantus II son Gamour CH competed at the Olympic Games for Switzerland with the 24 year old Tiziana Realini. In 2010, Giacomo W CW owned by Ravine Ranch Sports Horses (full brother to Grandus W CW) was licensed by CSH as a breeding stallion. To 2010, Gervantus II produced 19 offspring that are winning at Grand-Prix level in Europe and look out for his North-American offspring coming up through the ranks!
Dam: Easter Lily HAN competed in the hunter ring in the U.S. prior to entering the breeding shed. She has lovely
movement, a very steady jump and excellent rideability. In 2002 she was Mare Champion at the National Site in B.C. under Manfred Lopp. Her FEI dressage sire Empire HAN, became well known for producing outstanding offspring that excelled in all disciplines. He is 1/2 brother to Wenzel I & II. Easter Lily HAN, is also the dam of the CW MM Book mare Southern Umay by Tramino; Giacomo W 05 CW (licensed stallion with CSH) by Gervantus II OLD; and his full sisters Lillien W 06 CW (sold at the 2007 CWHBA Fall Sale); Libelle W 08 CW and Larissa W 10 CW.
