  • You look so fresh and happy in this vid. Glad to see your skin has cleared so much.

Can I ask you, did your dermatologist make you come in for bloodwork check-ups often? And like pregnancy tests as stuff? I hear they MAKE you go on the pill.

Maybe this varies, but how was your experience?

  • thanks :)

my derm makes me do blood tests around once a month, but i skipped my last one because it was too horrendous an experience lol... he doesn't know about this yet!

i wasn't made to go on the pill, and i'm not on the pill. maybe it's not common practice to do so in hong kong. is that a big issue for you?

  • Exactly!! Drawing blood is like .. death. So nasty. I'd hate to do that regularly. Maybe you get used to it..

My dermatologist seemed very adamant about my going on the pill when I was there. I'm like, if I was already getting laid I wouldn't NEED to go on roaccutane would I? lol

    Thanks for the speedy reply.

  • i got used to it but my veins are really deep so it's always hit or miss..

haha wait so you mainly wanna go on roaccutane to get laid??? conffuuuused! (am i being really dumb? lol)

  • Haha no, but I mean, if I had a boyfriend then obviously my acne couldn't be THAT bad in the first place.

But it is, which I find limits social interactions.

  • haha you're too cute... with that sense of humour who can resist!

  • you're welcome!

  • Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions!

And that's awesome that such a high % of your scars have gone. I guess only time will tell if my skin clears when I start.

Thanks also for keeping the videos going, it helps knowing what I'm getting myself into.

  • my skin's been good this week, same as the past few weeks to be honest. no active pimples, just 2 millia left over from the cetaphil cream. waiting for those disappear.

i'm not entirely sure how much longer i have to go.. maybe 1-2 months? i'm very happy with the results so far, because 70% of my scars have disappeared as well :)

don't worry too much about it.. even if you don't get completely clear skin, you can still take a 2nd course.

  • hey, thanks, it's great when other people notice your skin's better :P

the last product is Origins 'Peace of Mind' sensory therapy. You can get it from any Origins store.

The blot powder is really good. I'm not sure if it's non-comedogenic but it worked fine for me and didn't make me break out! it contains pretty standard ingredients like mica, silica powder etc. yes it's see through and light :) doesn't provide any coverage. Though surely if you're about to start accutane, you wouldn't need it?
