@Astromchaser I live in UK so we never have any really big storms :( thats why i always watch vids like this :)

@DILightning Usually the close strikes i get in my area make extremely loud bangs, instead of cracking or buzzing.

@Astromchaser its brillant you get an electric buzz in the air and one almight CRACK makes ya feel all tingly inside well it did to me and a lightning bolt stuck about 60 - 80 yards away :D

In your country, when it rains (or wherever)....do you stay in bed?....or like you pee all day?..:S

Thunder is only soothing when it strikes miles away. If a bolt of lightning struck 10 yards away from my house I don't think the sound would be very soothing.
