Did what you read mention WHY she got trashed ? Trolling and attacking people under a lame alias isn't "appropriate", no matter who's wife you are. He was not the only one funding the site, nor did he start it himself.

Ioan had every right to withdraw his support of the site, but being dishonest about Alice's need to control every comment on it is what caused many of us to lose interest in his career.

well from what ive read, he sent a letter stating his dissapiontment in his fans, not anything horrible. his "so called fans" were trashing his wife on the fan site so he ceased funding. the letter was completely appropriate. so from what ive seen, he is still the gentleman we all thought was with out a doubt! =]

The letter was appropriate? That's bullshit. It was uncalled for it was unprofessional. He really fucked big time. Shutting down the website did not help matters either. He was a nobody until it was created. His psycho wife FALSELY accused a moderator on the fan site of sabotaging her wikipedia page. They know they did wrong but do not have the class to apologize to this girl. They both need to act their age and learn to expect criticism. Its part of show business.

i agree. no other celebrity's wife does what his wife did. it's a part of show business, as you mentioned, that there will always be the more avid fans.
and besides, he didnt break hollywood as grandly as other british actors, despite his talent and pretty decent resume.
