(@darKofdEcade Tell me specs then, It's talking about Ram (randim access memory). Try closing other programs even things running in the background when using cinema 4d.

@MaxonC4D I use Alias Automotive to build models and have been importing them successfully using the .iges format, but my most recent model is not having it at all, it imports but then the model is no where to be seen and it seems no matter what settings i change or even changing the model in Alias it still wont come through... any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

@iYaziRz Choose Edit / Preferences and in the dialog that opens, click on Interface in the left list. Then, make sure Scheme is set to Light. Does that help?

Hello, I'm new to Cinema 4d and I got this blackhawk model and I want to animate the rotors but the rotors are connected to the body so I can't move them without moving the entire helicopter is there a way to disconnect them.

@SnakeFang217 You can split an object into different parts by selecting the polygons you want to split into a new object, then choosing Functions / Split.

how do you import a nif file????never.shame that the cinema not support a nif file.
SuperDnbx 1 year ago
@SuperDnbx There's no direct way that I know of to import nif files into CINEMA 4D. One possible option is to use Blender to import the nif files then export from Blender as OBJ to CINEMA 4D. CINEMA 4D does support OBJ but you may also need the Riptide plugin, which has improved OBJ support such as import/export of .mtl files.
