@shadowkx You asked, so I told you. And besides, if a dog's tail gets damaged later in it's life, it doesn't recover as easy if at all because of reduced blood flow. If they have to amputate it later, it's going to hurt A LOT worse.
Tail docking in neonates (newborn) pups is not very traumatic. Certainly it causes far less crying and discomfort than circumcising a human male infant.
