The video clips were shot at approximately 4.45pm from Woodhill, Whangarei, Northland, New Zealand on a day when it was apparent the sky was filled up with particulate matter from aerosols. This type of coloured material has been seen on many occasions since the beginning of 2010 in the area. If you see what you suspect to be man-made material, look at a thin portion of it with the sun nearby. It refracts the sunlight differently to natural cloud material and you may see an array of colours, including pink, green, orange, dark orange and blue when you look at it. Careful not to harm your eyes in the process though.

@rosepaigefly If more people took the time to actually look at the sky, rather than focus hours of their attention on the box in the corner of their lounge, they would see their skies have has changed, too. Keep your eyes to the skies - thank-you Rose! Your support is much appreciated.
