Hitchcock used to air Sunday afternoons (in reruns) and I always remembered three of them; The Jar, Woodbine Twineth and Unlocked Window. When I started looking them up online to see who was in them, when they aired, etc, I couldnt find Woodbine as I thought it was Bea Benaderet who played this part. Someone finally steered me to the right actress and I tracked it down. Always remembered the final scene, of course, but didn't remember any of that about Mr. Peppercorn.
