This extremely enjoyable film, which contains excellent footage of late 1960's home life, attitudes to food and meal times, addresses obesity in children. A female GP narrates the story of three children who are overweight for their age stressing that although there may be some inherited causes of their obesity, it is mostly due to over-feeding on the part of the parents, what the GP calls a cruel kindness. 3 segments. • Yeah kid you really need another candy bar!,your only 1 Milk dud away from Jenny Craig!

  • @Marmalade000000 Erm that boy is definitely overweight.

  • @ShyaRose22 erm Well when you're still a kid it sure can be.

  • OMG! Already back in the 60's the federal government was targeting healthy children and branding them "overweight"! No wonder everything's so fucked up today!

  • Since when was 110 pounds overweight?

  • Small amount of veggies & fruit, too funny!

  • @P8G9JVXD9BK296WHKYJB This is a British film. In our country, "Faggots" are an offal meatball, and "fags" are cigarettes. Probably just a quirky bit of 60's slang.

  • I love 1960's documentaries. So offbeat.

  • At least they're all sitting around the table and the dad works... seems like a nice family to me!
