Quenching, Hardening, Tempering, Anealing, Decarburization, Differential Tempering, Normalizing, Martensite, Troostite... what the hell does all this mean?

  • @juvanoux During annealing, the ferrite transforms above the A1 limit temperature (around 723 C) and transforms into austenite under the A3 limit temperature (907 C)

  • hey bear love the vid, im a racker for a heat treat myself and have been trying to pick up specifics at work to move me up in the company. i pretty much do the aircraft carburize normalize hardening tempering and nitrogen tempering (annealing) every once in a while i do some bright hardening shit. but yea cool man
