@maximcute33 There are different dialects of Chinese. Standard that a lot of people know is Mandarin I believe. Hope I helped to clarify this.

Well think about how many different mandarin accents/dialects there are.

Taiwanese and northern/mainland Mandarin sound nothing alike.

A Canto speaking mandarin will also have their own unique accent.

I apparently have a peculiar "North American" accent when I speak Canto cause I was born over here.
