Everyday Exile Project is an initiative which is telling the personal stories of Tibetan exiles and Tibetan culture through words, photography, art, and other media.

Buddhism is an integral part of Tibetan culture and everyday life. In Tibetan Buddhist tradition, debate is a tool whereby monks are drilled on important points in Buddhist philosophy by their peers and superiors.

This clip was shot at in the courtyard of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama's main temple in McleodGanj (Upper Dharamsala) in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

McleodGanj has been the capital of Tibet in Exile and home of the Dalai Lama since 1959, when they fled following the earlier Chinese armed forces invasion of Tibet.
