Metroid 2 Remake - New Features Preview

This video shows some of the new gameplay mechanics for AM2R.

AutoClimb and AutoMorph are optional features, they can be toggled in the options screen.
The subscreen will be accessed via the map screen in the final version.
The jumping mechanics changes are permanent, they provide a more fluid and natural feel.

nice, in original metroid 2 you were just able to carry one kind of beam, and if you wanted another beam you should go and find it again and without a map it was so difficult

Hmmm, so will this equipment stystem allow the disabling of equipment and the switching to Zero-Suit Samus and back whenever one wants?
