@mcmcmcmeaty that's part of the joke

TASTE THE MEAT, NOT THE HEAT
-
E) The SIZE of the steak also drops quite a bit at well done. An 8oz sirloin, for example, will be around 4oz well done (depending on grade of steak, of course).
In short, yes, you can 'enjoy' a well done steak, but the FACTS are that its 'not' the best way.
-
C) If you order out, chances are the well done steaks will be 'bad' cuts, and will not be as cared for as the other degrees (as ANYONE can cook a well done steak; and the chef will know you dont care about the taste).
D) The juices are NOT blood in steaks, they are a protein called myoglobin, which is GOOD for you.

A few things to clear up...
A) steaks are basically cut in such a way that the only bacteria ON the steak is just that; ON the surface. You CAN eat a blue rare steak and have NO chance of getting a food borne illness, since the SURFACE of the steak is cooked to at LEAST 165F (the point at which bacteria dies).
B) A well done steak has NO juices; at least, a REAL well done steak. You can say all you want about flavour, but the fact is, a steak cooked well done will be DRY in comparison.

@mcmcmcmeaty You seriously think saying what Hank said makes you a steak snob? I bet you like ketchup on your steak, don't you?
-
Thank you hank.. at least some other man in this world knows how to cook a steak.

hehe funny video. The first sign of a culinary retard is that they want theyre meat well done... do you want som kechup on it too?
-
@kamijk so does that mean they're not unhealthy?
-
@rangergxi Please leave, and take your burnt rubber with you.
You are in no position to be a steak snob if you're cooking on a propane grill.

@firedogkaxxiel Steaks, even cooked rare, contain barely any blood at all. The juice in steaks is water, fat, and myoglobin. The myoglobin gives the juice the blood red coloration, not blood's hemoglobin.
