This guy/show is a complete JOKE! Most of the survival tips they show will do nothing more than get you killed quicker. They also flat out lie about the circumstances during the show. If anyone takes this guy or show seriously they deserve to die slowly of exposure. If you want to watch a much more realistic survival show that actually has intelligent information....watch Les Stroud.

@ItheSwick Criticism.....sold out for the money. You asked. (and I'm not saying thats bad)

I' m a Skydiver myself and for me it's really funny watching this :D First the Opening time can be set up by the packjob 2.) A cutaway isn't that dangerous.. Reserve chutes are packed by a Professional Master rigger ! It' s very very unlikely your reserve doesn't open. 3.) this is a Rig made for cutaway trainings 4. )The dangerous altitude isnt dangerous. A reserve can be openend ( by a RSL) within 80-100 ! Producers did a great job editing this video.Like a Hollywood film with a lot of tension!

Don't always believe what you see on TV. First off you can tone the time of full deployment with packing. 2nd they dont show the harness properly, but most likely he's using harness made to train cutaway situtations. Those babies are packed with two spare chutes, since the main is ment to cutaway. And for his "dangerous" altitude, notice the guy below him filming. He has to turn, glide off and deploy safely after filming Bear.
Myth Busted!
