She's probably Type 2 since she stopped needing insulin. However the other issue is that we don't necessarily understand type 1.5 aka type 3 diabetes very well yet and so we can't judge the level of insulin needs.

Just because thousands of people sign on to sue a pharmaceutical company doesn't prove that the person was harmed by the medication they were/are taking.
