Far too little, far too late. If Clark had any decency, knowing what he knew, he would be lobbying tirelessly to get troops out of Iraq. It's easy to stand up at a press conference and say how shocked and dismayed you are at how things have turned out. He has no skin in the game. Is he just trying to preserve his legacy...distance himself from Rumsfeld and Cheney? It's all pretty hollow.

Good observations below re: Clark's after-the-fact critique & his role as an insider who has aided & abetted the US's Globalist Empire agenda -- he was a willing stooge in the Yugoslavia take-down betrayal by the Global Elites -- I never heard/saw his criticism of Pentagon duplicity & MIC war-profiteering opportunism, from Grenada & Haiti to Panama, Afghanistan Mujahadin Sabotage & Iraq/Kuwait Gulf War instigation. BEST way for Clark to redeem himself is via a Military Coup restoring Republic.

Yes we did vote Bush into office. And we got what we deserved.

@undystains That's the bottom line. The oil, the resources of the middle East and Africa are why there is unrest and war there. It's why Libya has to fall, when in 2004 America was sending Guantanamo prisoners there for torture. They are all getting fat from their corporate overseers and bankers and the world will be ruined for it. It's a police state world with only the illusion of freedom.

@JRCrowley Glad to see you can make an argument w/o resorting to name calling. I'd argue that a more important issue is money in our politics. The corporations are controlling the law making in this country. We need to outlaw contributions to politicians. Being a politician should be more of an altruistic sacrifice for the country. Not who can best sellout to corporate interests. I agree the Fed does need more control. The rest of his platform is lunacy. I don't take that back.
