It's not a bad way for Mini to celebrate its 50th birthday...with a new cabriolet. At launch, three versions are available: the 120hp Cooper, the 175 Cooper S and the 211 hp John Cooper Works.

  • Algún día, así sea el ultimo de mi vida, voy a tener el vehículo de ese video. Mismo color y convertible.

  • we are getting one red with stripes + Cabriolet

  • I want it!!

  • I want i want!

  • I love mini's, but I just don't think it's the kind of car that looks good as a convertible. I mean, for one, when the roof is fully retracted, the vinyl top still protrudes out of the back, which looks silly to me. Second, the mini isn't really a sporty coupe style car, so when it has the top down it looks more like a go-cart, or, to be brutally honest, like one of those small electric cars that kids play with.

Love mini's to death, but this wasn't the best idea in my opinion.

  • I don't dissagree totaly ;)

I think the New Mini can become für the jung generation what the old mini was. Sure it's not THE MINI, but it still gives "us" a nice mini like feeling.

  • It's bigger and saver, but still for the time smal ;)

And the biggest pro in my oppinion is, that you still have a great driving experience :)

I don't compare both experience on one level, there is a big difference for insiders, but for the new generation it gives us a feeling of beeing part of the grate (THE) Mini time :)

    Greetings

    Julian

  • I don't like the New Mini since it was redisigned because... Ok it looks good, and was de BMW answer for New Beetle but it broke totally the concept of the early Mini, or recent... Rover Mini... this car was cheap, accesible, sportive.. etc... Ehwn it was redisigned it becomes a luxury car, expensive, and bigger than its predecesor...

The same mistake of size of New Beetle was maked for Mini, and, recently, for Fiat 500, designed by the Mini designer... bigger no means funny...
