TCTC made life in 2002/03 worth living! they were such an ace band, loved the tunes and the live appearances. 'nuff respect for the reading massive!
-
that is insane...no one can step to them in terms of live sound manipulation except maybe radiohead

Perhaps because you're Belgian you have trouble reading English. I did not say it was a success because of MTV. I sarcastically said you should go back to the 1990s and tell everyone who heard it that MTV made that song famous. They didn't. What made it famous was it being played EVERYWHERE. I heard it used on Eastenders! It was not "big" because of MTV alone. That is my point. It is not an "MTV hit", because that would mean only those who watch MTV heard it.

It hurts to know i won't see this live ever again :-(

Thanks moron no. 3. You should go back to the 1990s and tell everyone the only reason it was a success was because of MTV.

check your facts stuart.. "The single went straight to Number 1 on the UK singles chart and also went to Number 1 in the single charts in twenty-three countries." from Wikipeda

Hello moron no. 2. What I was objecting to, were the words "major MTV hit single". I was not suggesting that the song was not a number 1 in the UK (I knew it was, without the help of Wikipedia. By the way, that isn't a reliable source of information, as I could go edit it to say whatever I like and unless you check the recent history, you wouldn't know). That those four words need to be used in conjunction with that awful, awful song, sickens me.

You're a moron. No sane person says something like "it was a major MTV hit single". Babylon Zoo's Spaceman was a popular song, that I remember once hearing on Eastenders (not that I watched it, I was only a child and nor did my parents).
