random fact, you dont have to call anything to get your imei code, its clearly marked on the inside of your phone. also, anybody looking to get the code free, this is not how. im going to go ahead and assume the code is going to be on some obscure message board. back to google...

@RachaelTheBlonde yes that is very true! but the only reason we ask for people to press *#06# is sometimes the IMEI on the back of the phone can be different (usually refurbished phones) thats why we want them to double check, if IMEI number is incorrect , its going to be an incorrect code.
