***UPDATE*** This is a one-off, no more will be manufactured!
This is me shooting a modern production M41-A ARMAT assault rifle made by a local company. On the movie ALIENS it was used by the USCM "United States Colonial Marines". The specs are that is was a 10mm caseless machinegun with a 30mm grenade launcher on the bottom. This is a one off copy of the movie gun, made so it is an actual firearm and not a prop.

The M41-A was also the weapon Ripley "Sigourney Weaver" lit up the Aliens and facegrabbers on the movie it has a real working model 870 short barreled shotgun and used a Thompson smg for the automatic fire. The Thompson used the smaller 20 and 30 round mags.

The manufacturer of this cool as heck set-up is Lage Manufacturing. I do realize a lot of you already knew this.
Please do not swamp Lage Manufacturing with e-mails. He has his MAX-10/9, MAX-10/45, and MAX/22 systems already taking a lot of his time. More e-mails will just slow things down. If you guys post questions, I will answer them. If I don't know the answers, I will compile just one larger e-mail to send or just talk to the manufacturer at the range the next time I see him.

For this set-up, it is utilizing an M-11/9 SWD smg, and an 870 AOW/ SBR.

With this particular firearm, it is a 9mm design, and it utilizes the Suomi coffin magazines that have a capacity of 50 rounds.

Yes, the round counter does work!

The recoil and climb is non-existent, and the set-up is a real pleasure to shoot. The optics and round counter turn on with the insertion of the magazine! It has a red dot sight and it is dialed in perfectly. The manufacturer is testing the design to see if he will offer it to the public. All NFA rules apply, and it is not inexpensive I will tell you that now. The gun is real, not a toy.

It is made to take the constant pounding of machinegun and shotgun fire unlike the prop which was designed just to hold up to blank fire.

    Between...the excessive...ellipses...and a...really...bad...metaphor...with even more retarded...grammar...I believe...you...have...invalidated...any form...of credibility...on your part...Please...keep...your mouth shut...retard.

It's a piece of fiction made into something functional, and that in itself is pretty damn impressive. Good work, guys!

Not just the R&D of course, but also needing to make a profit. Finding someone with both NFA weapons, the cost of the kit and slowfire upper is very pricey lands the overall product in the $10k range. End price was one of the deciding factors and another was the chances of someone either having or obtaining 2 NFA weapons to commit to such a build.

Lage Manufacturing had the intent of making these as a kit so that someone With an M-11/9 can add the Suomi slowfire kit onto it and install it into this Pulse rifle body. You would also need a Remington 870 SBR. It comes with the electronic dot sight and round counter plus a modified Suomi coffin magazine that would have the larger buttplate. The cost of making this kit, selling it for a few grand to cover R&D along with having enough people with an M-11/9 and an 870 made it not feasible.

Hey mate ignore everyone that says its sucks and is shit.

In my opinion I think it is amazing because it is my favourite sci-fi weapon out of lots, and it has been made as a real working gun which is badass.

Did you say the manufacturer is thinking about producing them in the future, or will it always be just a one time deal that everyone else must just gaze at in awe?

The gun is built on a Thompson receiver. So there' s no reason why you could not make one work right. Any ass that complains that "it dont sound the same" dude, have you even fired a gun? It's a Thompson, and if you dont like the way the Chicago type writer sounds you can fuck off. All these idiots that no shit about guns making statements like they their guns smiths. BTW I em a smith.

I am happy that most people understand that this is "a piece of fiction made into something functional". I like how you put it. This firearm was created because the designer always wanted a Pulse Rifle, but realized just tossing firearms into an airgun body was not going to hold up to anything except 'maybe' shooting blanks. This was designed to hold up to shooting live ammunition. The 50 round mag, round counter, dot sight that activates when mag is inserted... how can that be hated?
