This early documentary about Ansel Adams is not to be confused with another documentary of the same name that was made in 1981. In this video, we get to see Ansel at work when he was in his mid 50s. This is part 1 of 2 parts.

  • @spider62able Yes, Ansel really did help to make photography accepted as a fine art. Part 2 is posted. If you aren't seeing it, go to my channel and you will find it there. Thanks for your comment!

  • Very cool stuff ! Ansel definately helped bring photography into the fine art world. Will you be posting the second part of this documentary?

  • @cypeapplejuice LOL! Yes, it is kind of funny, isn't it? It has that style of cheaply made documentaries from 50s. Ansel sounds like he;s been inhaling helium too. If you want to see something even funnier, see the old documentary on Edward Weston that I have on my channel.

  • This is great to see the early days, but I can't stop thinking the narrator is just about to start shouting "Oh you pesky wabbit!"

  • @mplayer98 You're very welcome!

  • Amazing, thanks
