  • Totally agree !! too many people get hung up on translation issues instead of living a Godly life.

  • most are ignorant of the issue all together...

  • Whats next? How do we remove Jesus from the gospel?

  • You can keep the new translations, Pastor. My church and I will stand upon the Authorized Version.

  • (cont) and hebrew. and if i am not mistaken, so are the esv and the nasb.

  • @mastercheef12345 took the words out of my mouth, tue original scrolls were inspired: the original law and the prophets, the original GOSPELS, and the original letters, those were written by the SPIRIT through willing vessels such as isaiah, matthew, and paul. william tyndale is the one who translated the original english translation of the BIBLE if i am not mistaken, which was translated from latin scripts in which the catholic monks used, the latin script was translated from the original greek

  • @mrmark262 1. No, The original autographs of the Bible are inspired. Inspiration does not extend to manuscripts and particularly not on a particular translation.

    2. Wicked?

  • Peter Piper.....picked a pepper......packed a Piper.....popped a pooper.....John Piper!!!

  • Wow......Mr. Piper.....your new job=used car salesman!!!

  • @mastercheef12345 Of course God did not write the King James...Men under the breath of God wrote the King James Bible!!! God had nothing to do with the ESV...the ESV is wicked!!

  • @mrmark262 God did not write the King James. God wrote the Bible and the King james was translated in 1611.

  • No disrespect but I wouldn't listen to a man who endorses a FALSE teacher like Rick Warren..I don't care what he has to say after that.
