Ed can't fit in it...I guess my boyhood dreams are shattered then because we are about the same size. being an adult sucks. I guess I will have to stick with what my British friends call "Yank tanks". No big deal, I am getting a Challenger next year from Speed Factory any way. But I always wanted a Lotus :-(

this show is cool but i hate both people in it. I cant stand the host and the mechanic is a effin dork
i hate how the guy criticizes such little things

Edd could fit perfectly in the porsche 944 track car that they built... Haha but the Lotus is way too small for the guy
-
How tall is Edd? He seems too tall for most of cars presented on this series.

Respect!

It seems so easy on TV....
Believe me, it's harder in real life to restore an Esprit.
I'm currently working on a 1984 Turbo...
If you want one, be prepared to do a lot of work on the car...taking absolutely everything apart and start all over. From fuel tank, engine, gearbox etc.
If you are a tall person, try and get a targa version, or one with a optional glass roof, than you have a bit more headroom as well.
But, when it's finished, it's an absolute DREAM to drive!

I'm thinking of getting one. I fit in it fine and I'm 6'1", and my 6'4" friend could drive it too. Ed's is about 6'7", which is why he can't fit!.

YOU'RE RIGHT

Cum on man- a discuvry is justa shed on wheels-innit?

I think that was just the lads idea of a joke. I read that Ed took her for a spin on his lonesome- probably had more leg room without Mike in the car!
Bet Gary tucks his shirt into his underpants (and bites the pillow when he is being taken)

Yes a Discovery is vital isn't it? How else would you get through the Matalan car park or pick the kids up from school?
